Morocco Shorts International Film Festival aims to represent the cinema of the young, and to connect young artists filmmakers to the Moroccan audience. Located in a region that merges different cultures of the Maghreb, the Arab World, Africa, Europe, and the Mediterranean, MSFF shall play a role in creating a platform for communication between the young through films.
Morocco Shorts started in 2019 at Rabat International Author Film Festival; the festival is based on a long history of 25 years of festival experience, and it was then developed to be an independent film festival dedicated for short films filmmakers only.

Filmmakers are invited to submit their original work to Morocco Shorts International Film Festival (MSIFF) for the listed categories
FILMS PRODUCED AFTER January 1, 2022 ARE ELIGIBLE FOR SUBMISSION.
For International submissions, a Moroccan premiere is recommended, but not mandatory.

The Rabat International Author Film Festival is an annual event created in 1994 in the capital of Morocco. Meeting place for filmmakers of the world, the festival aims to promote the dissemination of demanding cinema and to nourish the Moroccan public's desire for cinema by bringing them author films which have almost rare opportunities to be projected in the country.
